If you know a dog that can sing please let me know.

Candidate 1: From Belgium's Got Talent, this dog sings, if you like to think this dog really did it, haha, perhaps to his friends because I thought the dog got emotional and cried when it heard the music. Anyway, I enjoyed its performance and I wonder what things he can do next.

Candidate 2: From gardea23 of youtube.com, according to this dog's trainer, his husky dog sings better than Beiber, lol! and it's really fun hearing this dog with her voice along with Ipad, you can notice that she can even play her voice in melodic scale. I'm starting to believe that dog can sing too. So what do you think guys? By the way if anyone is interested this dog has created her own album at Itunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mishkas-song-single/id395125406

Expect for more candidates, I'm still looking for more!

Jurassic World, forget the Park!

Wow! I miss Jurassic Park! This is it folks, at last from Park to the World! Chris Pratt is like male character of the legendary game “Dino Crisis” if anyone can relate with the game. People love wild thing and hate as much as love it when it go beyond entertainment and human control. So, I think, hahaha people should be contented with traditional zoos. Lion, tigers, monkeys, different birds, alligators, but dinosaurs? They should stay in the movie and film directors must keep them inside of that wide screen. Dino guys wait for me. I will watch your wildness and madness. Haha!

Do you love Giraffe?

I've never seen a giraffe personally in my whole life, but these long-necked guys seem knew what they're doing. Another thing is that they own a super big bathroom, swimming pool, what the heck was that? I don't know. Walls full of bathroom tiles, of course it's a pool for professional swimmers, but the giraffes did an amazing stunts which is just mastered by the monkeys. Haha! anyway, people giraffe did what others in their kingdom can do. How did they do that?

Make a User Defined 8.5 x 13 inches Paper Size as Folio or German LegalFanfold

Works perfectly in Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007, and Canon IP 2770 printer

A couple of years ago, I found a little problem about printing a document to a Legal size of paper because, for instance, in Microsoft Office (any versions) I can choose the Legal paper size if I desire a long bond paper but using this paper size will not fit our local version of long size of paper. In United States and or other similar countries Legal paper size is defined as 8.5 x 14 inches but in my country, Philippines, we are oriented by paper suppliers that Legal size has the dimension of 8.5 x 13 inches. According to my research the 8.5 x 13 inches is called Folio paper size or German Legal Fanfold; therefore Legal and Folio paper size are two different sizes. I can see the German Legal Fanfold in my print server properties that has the same dimension of 8.5 x 13 inches but I have no idea why it is not visible to Microsoft Office.

Fortunately there is printer like Epson which lets you define your own paper size and save it as template; however, Canon printers, perhaps not all Canon printers, are not user-friendly when you need a custom paper size because you need to always change the printer’s option to have a custom size. I spent hours to look for possible option to make a paper size template but Canon printer’s option has nothing to offer me.

I often experience my co-workers in our office that keep on asking my help when they attempt to use this Legal paper size in Microsoft Office. Explaining them this subject over and over is a tedious work; so I need to find a solution. Again, after many tours on my printer’s settings I finally discovered the right solution and  hopefully this tip will also help others that have a problem with 8.5 x 13 inches paper and the MS Office or the US Legal size.

Our main objective here is to make a user defined Folio paper size template. After a few steps you will be able to see this template in your Microsoft Office programs and if my guess is right other programs that require printer’s properties will also get the same result. To be more specific please see my subtitle regarding my specs. In addition my printer is a shared printer in our office network.

Step 1: Locate the Print Server Properties. Go to Start Menu and at the right side find Devices and Printers. When you get to Devices and Printers, click your default printer installed in your system. After selecting a printer driver, the additional three or more options will show up at the top of Devices and Printers window and look below the address bar. In short, you will be able to see the Print Server Properties when your printer driver is selected. Click the Print Server Properties to show its settings.

Step 2: Create your paper size template. At the Print Server Properties, go to Form tab, check the Create new form field which will enable some of the fields needed for new template specifications. Because we’re making here a paper size as Folio or German Legal Fanfold, change the width and height field values into Width=8.50in and Height=13.00in. In the Form name field, you can create a name for your paper size, and because I live in the Philippines I want to use the brand name of our bond paper Hardcopy which I prefer to name it as Hardcopy Legal. Just click the Apply and OK buttons.

Step 3: Check your new paper size. Finally open your Microsoft Office Word; go to Page Layout tab; click the Size icon to drop down the list of different paper sizes and find your newly defined paper size at the very end of list. If you are able to see your paper size then you have successfully created it. As you will discover this new paper size is also available to your default printer’s preferences.

Note: For HP and Epson this tip might not work 100% because each printer has different configuration. Perhaps, I will update this post in the near future. Anyway hope you find this helpful.

PayVilla.com is SCAM!

Another new referral scam arrived and perhaps you’ve seen this during your web session or chatting with your friends on Facebook. The other day, one of my good friends sent me a referral link of www.payvilla.com and asked me to click the link and sign up if I would be interested. According to him it was sent also to him by his relative from US. Well, let’s try I replied, though I don’t want to oppose the excitement of my friend, I hadn't told him yet about my huge idea regarding the matter that time. I clicked and signed up for new account, and guess what the things I found out.

For new account you will be given an initial total earnings of 25 USD (Wow!) but you should reach a minimum of 300 USD that will be approved by their system for you to withdraw and receive through any money transfer service such as PayPal, Western Union, Money Gram, etc. To get the minimum required earnings, you need to share your given link on Facebook, for instance, and each click will give you 5 USD. Therefore, I need 60+ clicks to hit my target.

When my target was hit, it was about to learn all the tricks behind of this scam (lol because I was expecting it). Finally I could see the line saying “Congratulations Your Payment Approved,” but to get to the next withdrawal process I must complete one of the surveys to check whether the account holder (that’s me) is human or not and it sounds legit.

Moving on, I clicked the link “Click here to open survey” and the real show had begun. The link brought me to a download page (downloadconfirm.net) telling me that I need to download something and to get it I must complete one of the surveys; oh, I thought it was just a survey but not at all.

According to the survey page one completed survey is enough to unlock the download and to continue to the withdrawal process but I did all the surveys because nothing happened after I completed the first survey I took. Perhaps, my Internet connection went slow; so the next day at my office, I tried again the survey but now only one survey was available. I took the survey as usual and nothing happened as yesterday. The loading bar at the download page continues to process as if the download will begin shortly. As usual nothing was new.

The very last decision I made was to send them an email. It’s great that they provided an email address (support-center@payvilla.com), but after a few seconds a notice popped up to my inbox and said that the my message I sent failed to deliver to the recipient. Hmmm, therefore, I've been right all about this!

I am too much aware of this scheme, I just made this post for my friends out there who are convinced and eventually they will realize that they have wasted their time and efforts. Another info in my digging, the payvilla.com was created 11th of May, 2013 and it will expire on 20th of October 2013, according to wschange.com, but because the payvilla.com receives heavy traffic, which means they get good profit out of this scam, it still exists in our browser.

I hope this helps you even a little. Enjoy Internet surfing.
